Technology Concepts was started in 1996, initially to provide professional development to local Hawke’s Bay teachers in their own schools and in their own classrooms.

As this relationships with schools developed and flourished, many principals asked us to consider selling hardware and software. Eventually we took the plunge, and over the years we sold Acorn, Apple and Windows devices and software as well as providing technical support and professional development. In the early days the devices were stand-alone! Then we became responsible for setting up many (especially primary school) networks and the subsequent technical support.

Eventually we merged our sales and technical support components of the business with New Era IT.

John then concentrated on professional development.

However, the time has come for us to retire from offering our services in the business world.

We want to acknowledge the wonderful support we have had over the years and thank everyone who has worked with us.
