Welcome to  our Technology Concepts site. We have been opertating since 1996 almost exclusively in the education sector. Our main focus has been offering a range of professional service to all areas of the education sector.

We are very excited to announce that Sally Phelps who in the past has been active in the background in the business will now be involved with professional consultancy and administration roles. John’s focus will still be on education.

Whilst most of our work has been in New Zealand we have been involved in projects in:

Background

Technology Concepts was started in 1996, intially to provide professional development to teachers in their own shools and in their own classrooms. As the relationships with schools developed, many principals asked us to consider selling hardware and software. Eventually we took the plunge and over the years we sold Acorn, Apple and Windows devices and software as well as providing technical support and professional development. In the early days the devices were stand alones and we were responsible for setting up many (especially primary school) networks.

Eventually were merged our sales and technical support components of the business with New Era IT. Although we stil work closely together, we are no longer a part of the New Era network
